An idea I had 4 years ago, becoming a reality*

(*without me :)
In 2003 I explained to my friend Norman Woolons how interesting, necessary and profitable it would be to make vertical farms with the form of a high-rise building. The several stories parking buildings that I had seen in Dallas -and had never seen before- inspired my idea. I remember we discussed the idea thoroughly once in our way to Santa Cruz, as we went to buy a second hand Jeep for him. I even made a drawing for him that can still remember. We talked about the reasons for doing it, how tall it would be, and particularly how to keep it watered down through high pressure hoses. According to my idea, almost the whole process -seeding, harvesting, watering- would be done electronically at regular intervals, requiring little or not human input. It was a really interesting conversation...and it seems that I was right!
Although I think Norman at that time didn't see it as feasible as I did...
Since then I have lost contact with him...the last thing I knew is that he was working in Dubai.
So if you read this Norman, and you remember me and our conversation, get in touch, for I don't have your address anymore!
